    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course one hundred percent. This course teaches you about the environment around you, teaches you how to write in APA format, how to manage your time, and still makes you laugh each day in class. The class is hard and the work is time consuming, but if you manage your time correctly, the class can be fun. I love the material and has led me to my major in Environmental and Plant Biology. If I could take the class again, I definitely would!

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course was most definitely getting to participate in Envirothon. Envirothon was separate from the course itself, but taught me material that was beneficial for basic knowledge and for in class concepts and topics. This is where I truly found my love for the environment and really helped me understand some of the notes from class. Also, we go to raise quail from the eggs until they were old enough to release. We also learned how to do stream assessments and we even got to learn how to catch salamanders. Yesterday, we even turned in a huge grant project. This is beneficial because it showed us what goes into building any facility and how to properly format a grant proposal. I have learned more in my three years of Biology than I have learned my whole life in all of my History course combined.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

DO NOT PROCRASTINATE. You will not do well in this course if you procrastinate!

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I wouldn't recommend this class to anyone who isn't an avid studier. To take this course is to apply yourself completely and to stay focused the entire year. If the student does not think her/she could do so, then this class will be very difficult.

    Course highlights:

This course teaches you much more than other high school classes. The class does not only teach you the tested material, but how to preform at a college level. It teaches you how to manage time wisely, write large reports, and also how you preform under and excessive amount of pressure.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Don't wait until the last minute for anything. The best way to get through this class is to plan ahead for everything and study as much as possible.
