    Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

    Computer Science has so much potential in the modern world, and Mr. Wood provides an amazing overview of CompSci in this course.

    Course highlights:

    You learn some of the more advanced aspects of Computer Science during this course. It builds on CompSci 1-2 and prepares you well for AP Computer Science

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

    If you get your programs done early and study during your classroom free time you will basically have no homework. Be smart and get on Mr. Wood's good side. He'll honestly give his best effort to help you find any opportunity you're looking for if you just reach out.

    Course Overview:

    If you are at all interested in the STEM field or its relatives, take this class! Mr. Wood walks his students through the world of Computer Science at a slower pace, which helps to form a stronger foundation.

    Course highlights:

    The best part about Computer Science is that it teaches students a new mindset. Students are able to be more creative, rather than focusing solely on memorization like most other classes.

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

    Don't quit before you give it a shot! It may seem hard at first, but you'll adjust quickly, and in the long run, you'll be glad you didn't give up such an amazing opportunity.

    Course Overview:

    This is an amazing class with an amazing teacher. I have already seen incredible results from completing the Computer Science program, as it has prepared me well for the world of engineering. If you are interested in any variant of the STEM field, this class is a must take!

    Course highlights:

    The best quality I learned from this course was how to think differently. Computer Science isn't about memorization like most classes. It's about thinking, about solving problems. Mr. Wood teaches you how to find this mindset, and how to thrive with it.

    Advice for students:

    Don't quit! It may seem hard at forst, but believe me, it's worth it to learn programming in high school. It will pay off!
