Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course mostly because I had an amazing teacher. Yes, there's a lot of work that goes into this class, but you will learn much by the end of the course. A plus is that you'll actually retain the knowledge. One tip, always keep up on your study guides!! They are worth so many points, and it'll help you in the long run because sometimes the guide is the test itself.

    Course highlights:

The best highlight was my teacher! Mr. Morrison had a very intriguing personality. You could tell that History was his passion, and when it comes to teachers that's important. As far as what I loved regarding the class material was the Amendments. Specifically, the 18th Amendment which was the prohibition amendment. Mr. Morrison made learning the Amendments very enjoyable by coming up with different projects for us to do and letting us watch videos on the Amendments in class.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Like I said before KEEP UP WITH YOUR STUDY GUIDES! Also don't be afraid to venture around when it comes to working in groups on projects in this class. The projects can be tough, and you don't want to be stuck carrying all the weight just because you wanted to work with your friend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This course broadened my horizons and gave me a greater sense of what it means to be an American. Learning about the trials and tribulations that Americans have faced throughout the course of our history has given me a greater appreciation for the right and freedoms that I have as an American citizen because of the struggles of my ancestors.

    Course highlights:

Taking an in depth look at the development of the political structure in America was definitely the highlight of this course. Learning about the changing party dynamics sparked my interest in current politics and helped me to understand how we got to the point we are at today in the American political system.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure you do the textbook reading! It may seem boring and dull, but coming into class with basic knowledge of what will be discussed is key in understanding concepts that are discussed more in depth in class.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this because it gives you a real feeling for what college classes will be like.

    Course highlights:

The teacher is great at presenting information to the point where you want to learn more in his class.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Do the assigned reading. If you put in time out of class then you should be fine.
