    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course not only because it is a great chance to see things from the perspective of somebody who looks at the big picture all the time, but because everything we do can be studied and explained and learning about how it's been done is amazing. It is a very different experience than a normal class and Mr. Gleim makes it very relatable so the course isn't too difficult to understand.

    Course highlights:

Highlights would definitely be watching the movie "Mean Girls" and watching Mr. Gleim pick it apart and explain why and how every character is the way they are or do what they do because of groups. That is what the course is all about, groups. It is surprising to see how much a role they play in society and it is pictured perfectly in the movie.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Have fun. It sounds simple but it is the biggest key to the class. You have to learn to open your mind and accept some of the cultures you learn about to be able to understand it from their societal point of view as well as your own. Always do the homework assigned because when it is, it is incredibly important most of the time and sometimes on the test. If you don't try to enjoy the class it can and will be a miserable experience. But when you cross the barrier between what you find acceptable or what you find to be the "norm", it can be a very gratifying class.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I recommend taking sociology because it opens up your mind to a whole new perspective on life. You will learn so much about human culture, interactions and morals that you've never realized before.

    Course highlights:

I learned crazy statistics in this course and about how far humans will go to fit in. I never had a boring day in this class. I don't want to spoil any surprises but just know humans are more evil today than they have ever been in the past before, and you'll discover why.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

I always disliked social studies in high school but this class isn't like social studies at all, so don't worry! It's not about geography, it's more about scientist's names so make sure you keep up with them all.
