    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This course has a lot of work but also is very much worth the effort put towards the class. A majority of the units are filled mostly with learning and memorizing terms and definitions. Students learn about many psychologists and the studies they performed. I found the work was well worth the effort because i find the class very fascinating. I recommend this course for any student who interested in this path of studies.

    Course highlights:

Student in AP Psychology learn many psychology terms and definitions. You learn about well known psychologists who came up with the terms and their studies. It may sound boring to many students but psychology is well worth the effort and i guarantee you will start to grow a fascination towards the lessons your learning.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

I highly advise any students taking this course to start notecards and learning terms early on in each chapter. Making notecards after you have just learned the terms in class that day is so much easier than pushing it off till before the test and having to look up the definitions of terms you have forgotten.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This was an excellent course! It will challenge you, but in ways that you've never been challenged before. It's a good balance of stimulating coursework and the interesting topic of psychology, which is quite fun and will be unlike any course you've ever taken before.

    Course highlights:

I learned all about behavior, and what makes people behave certain ways. This has to do with the way people were raised, and you get to learn about all kinds of experiments psychologists have done in the past to determine behavior and its origin. You also get to learn about the mind, and the brain in particular. It's an amazing piece of the body, and you will learn all about neurons and the nervous system, and how people think.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Don't procrastinate! Make flashcards for the vocabulary for each unit, it will help a lot! And don't wait until the day before the test. If you start studying all the terms a couple weeks in advance, it will make your life so much easier. This course is heavy in vocabulary and memorization, so that's the biggest thing I would stress.
