    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

It is a required course. In Freshman English you learn more about the meaning of writing. You read more books. You get interested in a lot more. There are more options and more exciting activities.

    Course highlights:

Reading the Odyssey was one of the best parts. Of course it was a fiction story! But it was the meaning that counts and the creativity along with it. We also learned more about proofreading and how to come up with more creative introductions.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Just listen. The class isn't that hard as long as you have a open ear. Study of course. But other than that listening is key. Listen to the stories. Listen to how excited your teacher gets when he or she is talking about the next topic.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

It's a great course because it really helps you to expand your vocabulary and learn to get into the rhythm of writing at least one essay a week. Also helps you learn how to properly set up a paper and make sure you have every component to make your papers great.

    Course highlights:

This course really helped me learn how to get to the main point of a paper without adding so much fluff in between. Also helped me to realize how much time it really takes to type a great paper and to never type a paper the night before it is due.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

If you take this course never try to write a paper the night before because it never really turns out the best. Also practice makes perfect so don't complain about the work load because in the end it will all pay off.
