    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Although I had a very good teacher, I really struggled in this course. History isn't my strongest suit, so I do wish I would've taken a class that wasn't AP. It may be the fact that I was also taking two other AP classes, but it soon all became too much for me. If you would like to take this class you should make sure that it's something that your are ready to focus on and become fully engaged in.

    Course highlights:

We moved through this class very very quickly, taking new notes every single day, meaning we learned a lot! Since it focuses on the history of solely the United States, we were able to have time to go into depth on the many wars we were involved within.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure you are ready to study hard and take tons of notes! There will always be a homework assignment or something you can be doing to stay caught up. If you've never been good in social studies or learning history, you should go to focus on a different AP class that you are successful and will want to learn in.
