    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

This is a CP course, so if you're looking to challenge yourself, don't take this course. However, if you're interested in history and want to learn without having the stress of essays and difficult tests, Mr. Downing is the perfect teacher. He's one of the oldest teachers in the school and knows a lot of additional information that new teachers have never even heard of, and he wants everyone to succeed.

    Course highlights:

In this course, I learned about the first part of US history in great depth. However, I only had to write a few essays, and most note-taking was optional, so I did not improve in those areas. The highlight of this course was hearing about Mr. Downing's experiences growing up in the South, as well as the slave trade animation that we spent 5 WHOLE DAYS ON.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

If you take this course, read the textbook and pay attention during class. Studying is optional.
