Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would totally recommend this class if you are wanting to get an introduction to the medical field!

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course was clinicals. At first is was really scary because I thought I was doing everything wrong, but as days went on my confidence boosted and I was ready to conquer all my tasks. It was a great way to realize this is what I will start off doing on my journey towards my medical field career.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

You need motivation, if you dont this class will be a drag. It does take up time but remember it is a college credit class so it should be taken as it is. Dont rush things and ask for help when you need it, team work makes things a lot easier. Study your notes once in a while , itll help you remember and not fail, which I learned from personal experience.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I recommend it for anyone trying to become a CNA. It's taught by a talented instructor and the curriculum is somewhat challenging but rewarding.

    Course highlights:

I learned about all the basic responsibilities of Certified Nursing Assistants. The teacher is also super spontaneous and bubbly and can turn your frown upside down.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Take it seriously but not too seriously. When it's time to buckle down you must really give it your all. However the teacher is what I would call a "fun" teacher and some days we really just have fun. She even cooks us stuff in our birthdays.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Many people recognize the doctors who do all the work. To take care of any patient you need more then one person and one of the most important people needed are CNAs. For someone who wants to peruse a career in health care becoming a CNA is a great first step and teaches you the basic of different safety, infection preventions, and responsibilities you will need in the future along with furthering your knowledge of health care.

    Course highlights:

My highlights of the course was getting the physical experience working in a Rehabilitation and Nursing Home setting. Learning hands on and completing the task needed to become a CNA was one of my favorite things.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Practice skills at home on a sibling will make you less nervous and more confident when taking test and the state board of nursing test.
