    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because it goes deeper into the information you already know and it allows you to use that information and apply is in the real world.

    Course highlights:

The highlight of this course for me was learning to decode because it was really fun and cool to create your own code and decode others. Also you will learn about the velocity and distance at which things travel and that is where you are able to apply these things in the real world.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

I would tell students to definitely not cheat themselves on the homework and complete on their own and fully because the practice will pay off. Also if you are able i would take physics before taking this course because there are some over lapping vocab and equations that are used in that class as well. Also make sure that you review and stay up on your old math skills because they will come back during this course.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend it because this class challenges you. You have to meet your teacher halfway and push yourself to be successful. You should take this class if you want to test yourself and your limits. Also this class will prepare you for college and show you what it isn't like to take a college math class. You'll never know how successful you can be in a college class if you never try.

    Course highlights:

I learned that you can be successful in a college class even as a high schooler as long as you put effort into the class.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Take it because you'll get a feel as to what to expect when you enter any college class really. You have to try and focus to be a great college student.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this class because it gives you a different perspective of math than the usual algebra or geometry class. In this course you use a lot of real world math and although you use a lot of math background knowledge you go further into the material and actually learn some pretty cool tricks like how to decode a message.

    Course highlights:

What i enjoyed learning the most was decoding, you learn to take a numbered message and turn it into letters. Its a long time consuming process but in the end its actually pretty interesting. Also you learn synthetic division which is a different way to go about a equation, you will learn many different ways to solve the same equation there's a lot of room for favorite methods in this course!

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

In order to succeed in this class you must review your old skills from algebra, not too much trig but their is some. You do get a lot of homework that may seem repetitive but many questions look alike but require a different process so do all of your homework thoroughly. The practice will really pay off!
