Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because it teaches a person how to be a better speaker, more fluent in giving speeches, and it makes a person feel more comfortable when having to go in front of groups of people and talk.

    Course highlights:

Some highlights of this course were learning how to give better speeches and multiple different types of speeches. Some types even were in groups or with partners, so a person did not always have to give a speech by themselves.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Some advice I would give to students considering this course is to practice the speech many times so a person does not end up forgetting anything, dress nicely, look at the audience, and do not just stand in one place while giving a speech.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

You are challenged by Mrs. Saur everyday and you will enjoy the class at the same time. And you will learn so much from her about speech and about life.

    Course highlights:

I learned how to become comfortable speaking in front of a large group of people. How to make deadlines and to learn what the consequences are of not making them. Which helped me plan better and to stay on top of things. Which helps in all classes and almost everything ekse you may face in either sports, clubs and careers ect. So this class overall has prepared me for whatever may come my way in everyday life.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

You must "prepare", meaning study from your class book, practice your speeches, and plan ahead. This being you should make you speeches as early as you can so that you can practice presenting it either in front of a mirror or in front of people. Also you must follow Mrs.Saur's teaching handouts which will help you with your speeches and assignments. By doing this you can and will be successful in Mrs. Saur's speech class.
