    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this class to STEM majors who are required to take Calculus. The professor was beyond this world. I used to dislike math but his lectures will possibly change your mind and that's good since some STEM majors are required to take Calc 2 and 3.

    Course highlights:

Real world applications I never knew I could actually use. And limits! If you are a math or science major limits will be part of other upper-class divisions like Calc 2 and Calc 3. For this reason, make sure you get it down pat.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

This class requires discipline and effort! A minimum of 2 hrs of practice each day, no skipping, and the capacity to ask questions. Whenever you don't get something don't be scared to say "I don't get this". If your professor offers office hours to spare a few minutes of tutoring take advantage of it. If extra credit is offered use that to your advantage as well. And again, effort, putting effort won't betray you.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

The professor is super hands on and will go over steps. She'll always stop to ask if anything doesn't make sense. Just study, but I mean study an extra hour. The exams have a way of sneaking up on you.

    Course highlights:

How hard calculus could be, especially in a college environment. Less forgiving in college than in high school.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Gather a study group or go to a tutor. Hell youtube works fine

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I just started class last week, and so far it is going well. He teaches the material and tells you what to practice at home.

    Course highlights:

The course taught me about the fundamentals of Calculus, and I was extremely excited to learn about them because I love math and I would like to apply the theoretical concepts in my field of study.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Study everyday, there is no getting by in the course. If you are an early bird like me, wake up in the morning and study. The first thing you should do is pick the time you want to study and practice the problems over and over again.
