    Everyone should take it, it's a great way to learn about what goes on in your body with the different things you ingest.

    Course Overview:

    I took Nutrition class to fulfill my natural science core requirement to get my AA at mdc and I thought it was an amazing class that helped me beyond school setting! In fact, I developed a love for nutrition and healthy lifestyle!

    Course highlights:

    I learned about how our digestive system works and how every organ in our body takes part in the process of food intake and digestion. I also learned about vitamins, minerals, and antieoxiants.

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

    For this class, I would recommend people to study please! You need to study in order to pass. But she does give a review before the exam. Some questions will be in the exam, others won't. But you get an idea of what you can expect. Exams are every detail oriented!

    Course Overview:

    This course was not only very insightful but it was a subject that is very practical in our everyday life. I have always been into sports and fitness but this nutrition class opened my eyes to how our body really works and reacts to different foods. Many of us think we know how are nutrition is but in really we don't, I highly recommend this class.

    Course highlights:

    Our nutrition project. It was a one week journal and analysis of our nutrition. after recording every meal and nutritional elements for a week I realized the damage I was doing to my own body through my diet.

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

    Prepare to be shocked. As well as you will get very hungry taking the course when the professor show images of food.
