    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

    Wonderful insite on literature!

    Course highlights:

Film watching in class! It was all related to the course and literature we would read in and out of class, making the syllabus the most perfectly balanced one I have experienced.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Short and quick semester but worth the hard work. You walk out with real knowledge, which is priceless.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This was a science fiction based course where we studied and learned the "alien" metaphor, and how we apply it to our daily lives.

    Course highlights:

We read and discussed a couple of interesting articles about the possibility of life in other planets and how technology has advanced throughout the years.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

If you enjoy science fiction and are curious about the future of our planet, this may be the perfect course for you!

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

It was an interesting class because of the material covered (various great poems, plays, and short stories) and because of the class discussions, but it may not be suited to people who don't love reading.

    Course highlights:

A highlight of the course was reading "Hills Like White Elephants" by Ernest Hemingway. I learned a lot about different analysis techniques.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

I would advise that they read the material before the class discussion so they can participate.
