Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course is well laid out in preparing students in the basics of marketing. It brings students to think about the methods by which someone can appeal to a demographic and how to put those methods into practice in the real world.

    Course highlights:

The main aspect gained from the course is creating a marketing plan for a proposed product and presenting that plan as if it were a real world pitch to a firm or executives within a firm. The student looks over the product and does market research for the product. From that market research, the student begins to develop a full marketing plan section by section. After each section has been completed, the students are to create a presentation to pitch the product in front of the class as if they were presenting it to a firm.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

To succeed the student most definitely needs to listen to the instruction of the professor. After that, the main thing is to piece different aspects of business principles together from the math, the critical thinking, and writing skills. All of them must flow together in order to succeed in the class.
