Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I recommend the course immensely because the teacher is one of the best I have ever had and he will definitely teach you to be at the best of your ability.

    Course highlights:

I think the highlight of the course for me was learning all about mythology such as the Greeks and the Romans.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Always show up to class on time and ready to take notes because he won't miss a beat or lag behind for anyone.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Professor Carlo has a clear passion for teaching. He always came prepared on the chapters we where reading or going over that day. He made the subject and knew how to explain any questions we had or didn't understand. Anything regarding history can get confusing and at times boring. Professor Carlo made sure we where always into the class discussion by interacting with us and making things interesting by adding his own personality.

    Course highlights:

I never had interest in history. Going into this class I was worried I wouldn't pick up anything because of lack of interest. I quickly realized this was going to be one of my favorite classes because of how the professor went about teaching the topic. I learned a lot about how our history ties together with everything in our everyday current lives.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Do the reading. It's always a plus to go into the days lecture knowing what the hot topics will be. Participating makes the class that much more fun and interesting and you end up learning more than you would have just sitting and listening.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course with Jesse Carlo 100 percent. It's interesting to learn the different cultures throughout different time periods and he also makes this class so enjoyable because it feels more like a conversation than just a lecture.

    Course highlights:

Jesse Carlo is hands down my favorite professor, he is very well informed on the material he is teaching and because he has traveled to many of the places he speaks about he just talks about his experiences in detailed and even puts the pictures he's taken on his presentations. Throughout the course, my favorite topic was the Gothic period and its amazing architectural work.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

The textbook is extremely important to have. Most of the time his powerpoints/lectures go by the book and so he will ask some students to answer a question with information from the book. Also, the quizzes online are made to find all the information in the book. Participation is key because most of the class is discussions and questions asked back and forth.
