Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I think Professor Bovee did a great job with presenting this course to my class. We all were of different levels and had varying strengths and weaknesses. She helped teach us how to play for our strengths and handle our weaknesses with our writing. With Professor Bovee it was never that you could not but that you can and you will.

    Course highlights:

She helped me learn how to use the school's online database which I never learned to use in this way for a paper. She also made class interesting and had a great selection of material to aid in the teaching.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Take time to really find what it is you like about writing, even if it's not your thing. Find something that anchors you to what you write and gives you motivation to do so.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This course is like joining the army. You need direct discipline and good ethnics to do the job well.

    Course highlights:

I learned how to think outside the box and really got into the fields of science and math.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Study is love, never quoting is life.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Professor Schroeder is a great English teacher. Very inspirational. He teaches not only academic requirements but also prepares his students for the "real world". I would definitely take his class again. And I recommend him to all students interested in good writing. He talks about himself and his experience so we can learn from him.

    Course highlights:

I took his class in 6 weeks, he requires a portfolio (which takes a lot of time to do), he will ask you to read a book of 32 chapters (Cannery Row) and makes you summarize every single chapter and write a 2 sentence reaction about it.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Lots of home work. If you skip class you will fail. Get ready to always read. He his a very tough grader. The lectures are also heavy.
