    This class was tough.

I highly recommend this course because it offers information and a form of thinking that can actually be used in your own day to day life. This course covers fallacies of vagueness, probability calculation, and arguments and justification. This course prepares you for common life obstacles in a way that other courses overlook. It enhances perspective on many situations and teaches students to become realists.

    Course highlights:

In this course I learned to consider certain factors upon making decisions. In analyzing fallacies, I learned to consider all of the relevant details in any given situation. I thought one of the most important lessons were those involving philosophy with the purpose of determining true ethics.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

I would advise students considering this course that they have everything to gain from it. Enter the course with an open mind and be willing to change perspectives. Be ready to learn constructive argumentation and the testing of theories to determine the true definition of ethics.
