    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This course will help you get out of your comfort zone and improve one's qualities to become an effective leader. In this class , the student would essentially learn about his/her strengths, personality type and learning style. The professor is very respectful and creates a friendly learning environment. She is always encouraging the students to participate and contribute to class discussions.

    Course highlights:

The most important thing that I learned in this class is to learn how to be comfortable in uncomfortable situations. I am an introvert person and it is often hard for me to express myself and speak in public. However, i feel that the highlight of this course was when i had to present about the civic engagement project that i had to work on throughout the semester. My preparation for this presentation was very arduous but I was able to successfully communicate my project in a clear and effective manner.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

The most important thing that a student would need to succeed in this course would be to seek help from the professor in her office hours. She is a very nice and compassionate person, who genuinely wants each and every of her students to succeed in her class and past her class.
