    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

It's not that i would not recommend this course, because it is a necessary course for any nursing student. However, it is a tough course, it requires dedication and a lot of sacrifice. But even though it is tough it is a class that teaches you the basics of nursing, so take advantage of it.

    Course highlights:

It is the fundamentals, i learned the stepping stones to becoming a great nurse. There are a lot of procedures and ways of the profession that one may have never thought of. This course has helped me understand how to communicate with patients, and how to being treating them.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Study, study, study. Do not take it lightly, and make time for HESI if it is required. I always recorded the lessons to listen back in my study time. If you can find a study group it makes studying a lot more fun and helps everyone out. My final advice is to want it, to have a passion for what you are learning. It will get stressful and emotional at times, but thats where the passion kicks in.
