    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this class because it is a class to get you started for College Calc or AB to BC Calculus

    Course highlights:

I learned that it is ok to not be perfect at every subject and with a little help from someone you can still suceeed through the struggle.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

It may seem like an intimidating course but if you have a good teacher you'll do just fine !

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Sparhuber is a very intelligent woman and puts a lot of work into breaking down everything taught throughout the course. The course it challenging but if you are up to the challenge and plan to work hard, Sparhuber's detailed daily notes and classroom discussions really do make it easier to understand and follow everything that goes on in the AP Calc AB curriculum.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course were all the times she had us work in pairs or groups so we could help each other, and when she had us do a Calculus portfolio at the end of the year. I learned a lot about Calc and about how rigorous college and college courses can be. Like I said this course requires constant effort. I went in as a pretty lazy student but by the second quarter I was doing my homework every night and really made it a point to study.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Work hard and just keep practicing. If you don't understand how Sparhuber explains something it's not a bad idea to try to find a youtube video on the same topic to help you study.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I loved this class! Some of the topics we covered were a little difficult but the teacher makes everything easier. When it came time to take the AP test i felt very comfortable because Mrs. Sparhuber reserves so much time at the end to go over and review for it. The class was a lot of fun and made me love math even more!

    Course highlights:

The teacher was definitely the highlight of the course! I learned a lot of calculus but also some life lessons that i never knew i needed.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

If you don't understand something don't be afraid to ask questions she is really good with one on one help and if you're shy she records her lessons and puts them on the eboard if you need to get them again.
