Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Mr. Pilkington is an amazing teacher. He's really laid back & isn't one of those teachers that are rude all of the time. He makes you feel comfortable in his room & he always has jokes. Also wants to make sure you understand everything in the course. Never seen him mad but he hates when people are on their phones when he's giving notes.

    Course highlights:

We had to do our own psychology experiment. It was a really great thing to do & an easy grade.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Do take notes & do read the chapters. Usually every test has 1-2 questions from the book, which isn't a lot but I would still read to understand the concepts better.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This class opened my eyes to some of the human mind's most mystifying qualities. Every day, I would leave thinking and wanting to read on. Amazing class!

    Course highlights:

This was a semester of in-depth discussion, application, and analyzation which all lead to a greater understanding of human psychology. From how we remember to why we act the way we do in public, I completed the course with a whole new wealth of knowledge.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

The tests play a huge role in your final grade, so don't put off reading or studying. ALWAYS do the study guides!

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I loved Psychology class and although some issues were controversial and touchy, Mr. Geerts did an excellent job of keeping the class engaged and making the overall experience an enlightening, thought-provoking time. Additionally, Mr. Geerts was so organized and on top of things constantly.

    Course highlights:

We mostly learned four broad categories of psychology: social, cognitive, biological, and abnormal psychology.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Be attentive and constantly engaged in the class work.
