Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Ms. Midgette is a fantastic teacher and makes the material engaging and accessible.

    Course highlights:

The best part of Calculus was the close relationship I, and most other students, developed with Mrs. Midgette. Additionally, I love math and thoroughly enjoyed learning calculus especially given how applicable the content is.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Pay attention in class, do the homework and do the reviews and you will do great in this class.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because I found the class extremely interesting and Mrs. Midgette was excellent at breaking down the course material so that I could get the most out of the class. This has been one of my favorite classes throughout high school.

    Course highlights:

I learned an abundant amount of information about calculus. My favorite part of the class was getting stickers for getting A's on tests or for getting a question right. It made the class upbeat and fun when Calculus would normally be dull.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Always, always study for her tests! It helps a lot if you complete the study guides and pay attention while taking notes.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The teacher truly has a gift for teaching and roughly 25/35 students earn an "A" or high "B." Each day is spent checking homework answers as a class, taking interactive notes as a class with lots of practice, and classwork at the end. The class is truly interactive and exciting, even if you are not that into math!

    Course highlights:

The teacher ensures that you know everything you need to know to succeed in her class and in college. She also makes sure to include interesting, real life applications to each topic so that students don't feel as if they are doing pointless math all day. Another highlight is that the homework is solely for the purpose of practicing the material on your own and is only about 5 questions per night.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

All you need to do is pay attention and take notes in class and do your homework. The teacher is amazing and she will ensure that all the material makes perfect sense for you.
