    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course to anyone who has a desire to learn more about world history in general. If you're not into learning more than what is expected when it comes to learning about world history, don't bother taking this course because you will be extremely unhappy. Overall you learn a lot, but you must be prepared to do a lot of work and reading on your own in order to succeed.

    Course highlights:

I learned a lot about world history (obviously) but I personally enjoyed how they focused on other cultures besides just the basic European and maybe Asian history if you were lucky. You learn a lot about the Middle East and other different demographics, and so long as that sort of thing interests you, you will probably enjoy the course even though it is tough.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure you do your work. This may seem like something obvious but the thing is is that if you don't put the time and effort into reading the textbook and taking notes on your own, you won't get much out of the course. So long as you understand the material you should do fine, but there are a lot of names and dates that you have to memorize. I found that the Princeton Review flashcards helped me a lot, especially when it came time to start reviewing for the AP Exam.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I'd recommend this course to anyone who has a deep interest in global history and isn't averse to doing more work than the average history class.

    Course highlights:

I gained exposure to a college level history course and learned a lot about the subject. I was impressed by the depth of the course and how deeply it dove into global history, much more than any other class offered. It was interesting, challenging and educational.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

You're going to read every page in the text book if you want to pass. The answer lies in there.
