Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

English 102 is a Dual-Credit course that many seniors take at Moriarty High School. It is a little more challenging but totally manageable. We do a lot of activities in that class that regualr english classes would not do. They're english related but more interactive, making it easier to learn.

    Course highlights:

During this course, we learned a lot about old English. We read a book that everyone in the class couldn't put down, it was called "The Alchemist". At the beginning, we also went over grammer studies, which took up a lot of time, but was needed.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

If you are going to take this course, make sure you make time to study. We often have class discussions, and so if you don't know what we're learning, then it makes it very difficult for you to cath on and learn. Also, you will get point deducted in you class participation.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This class in a great class to learn how to annotate. The course teaches you strong study skills and how to keep up in class. It also encourages students to do homework and be more prepared for college.

    Course highlights:

This course so far has been great. One highlight is I learned how to annotate poems. Something I never thought to do before.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Be prepared to have homework, but in the end it is well worth it. By writing essay in class as well, I have learned how to express myself stronger in my writing.
