    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

AP Psychology truly opens up your eyes to ideas and experiences you would've never thought of. My teacher, Ms. Bischer, was very knowledgeable and understanding. While the workload may seem plentiful, the course is interesting and I was never once bored with the materials we learned. Ms. Bischer always makes class fun, with various projects, presentations and movies in order to help us learn.

    Course highlights:

In AP Psychology we learn about sleep cycles, such as REM and deep sleep, and dreams. We also learn about the stages of morality and maturing. We read the book the "40 Studies that Changed Psychology" and discuss the authors, experimenters, subjects and results of those studies. The concept of nature vs. nurture is discusses, as well as mental/personality disorders.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Ms. Bischer teaches in a specific way in which we go home and complete packets from the text book, and then in class we learn almost the same thing, but more in depth through a powerpoint, to reinforce the material. My advice would be if you don't pay attention in class, make sure to read the textbook. Always complete the flashcards she gives you as well, since they are a very helpful study tool.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

It is a modern science that many people are not used to. I believe it unifies humans and focuses on various theories that you are not required to believe in.

    Course highlights:

I loved being introduced to the biology of the brain.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Be sure to create flash cards and study them.

    | No strong feelings either way.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I thought this class was going to be a lot more interactive than it is. I find this class sort of boring but the material we learn is interesting. There is a lot of notes and everything seems similar.

    Course highlights:

I am learning so much about why things are the way there are in psychology. The studies we learn are very interesting as well as all of the different things happening in the brain at one time.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure you take good notes and summarize them instead of writing everything down. Make flash cards because there is a lot of vocal terms that you have to memorize for quizzes and tests.
