    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

AP Language and Composition instills the confidence students need to tackle difficult college level English courses by encouraging diligence and challenging your analysis skills.

    Course highlights:

My favorite part of the course was reading the novel, "The Things They Carried," because it taught me not to take the life I have for granted.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Do not procrastinate. Make a schedule to complete homework and stick to it because you do not want to fall behind in such a fast-paced course.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course to students that are passionate about writing and love to have deep conversations and think outside of the box. This course helps prepare you for college essays and building a resume and writing portfolio, as well as embraces your personal writing styles.

    Course highlights:

Timed writings are given every week during the fall semester, and two timed writings are given every week during the spring semester- take these seriously because they help a lot on the AP exam and writing college essays.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Time management is a must! Homework, essays and readings were given as homework every night. Being well prepared in your vocab and readings helps a lot when the teacher gives quizzes.
