    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

Professor Loomis is a brilliant and engaging professor who LOVES what he does. He's very thorough in his explanations, and it more than happy to help if you are struggling. He's easy going, his tests and quizzes aren't hard, and he keeps labs fun. Highly recommend taking him. He is a favorite at Nova.

    Course highlights:

We studied a lot on the specifics of cells and the parts of the cells. It's a basic biology course, nothing you haven't been introduced to in high school, just much more in-depth. Helps you really understand what they were talking about in high school.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Attend class is definitely the most significant thing you can do to get a good grade. His power points have blanks that you can only fill in if you attend. Also, he hands out a study guide, fill it out and study from it and you'll Ace every quiz and test. He doesn't surprise you with information, he's very clear about what he expects you to know.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

He is very enthusiastic about what he is teaching. Helpful teacher if you need him to repeat things. You will learn a lot.

    Course highlights:

The labs were very hands on & I learned a lot about the animals & how they work internally.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Take notes & always review and answer the questions at the end of the power points.
