Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I feel that this has been the most interesting course I've taken during my program. This course ties to every aspect of an organization.

    Course highlights:

The hiring process. If organization takes the necessary steps during the hiring process from position to person analysis they might be able to reduce or maintain retention level.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

complete your assignments and work with your team. Also communicating with the professor helps.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Dr. Fiedler is very accommodating and will answer any questions students have about the readings, assignments etc.

    Course highlights:

There were videos and supporting articles that helped really hammer home information on the topic. We learned a lot about talent management as a whole versus focusing on recruitment. We learned about job analysis, making job descriptions, considering succession plans for internal candidates, various ways a company can advertise available positions and strengthen their employer brand etc. Very interesting and useful information.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Do not take this class with another class if you work full time as there is a lot of work required. She gives study guides for the midterm and final but uses respondus lockdown for the exams. The information is very interesting, especially for HR professionals but it is very time consuming.
