Not too easy. Not too difficult.
Took this as an on line masters program with no prior experience in Project Management. I work on a large scale program with various sub projects and found the course work to match everything I see at work on a daily basis and I could see the class material bettering how I work. The professor is very knowledgeable and helpful and poses assignments that are in intriguing and interesting.
I learned how a large scale project is built from the ground up. This course has you generate a tangible product at the end of the course which is a fully documented Project Plan. This project plan if taken seriously could be moved right into production and utilized in a real application which is what I intend to do with mine. The course teaches you about WBS, estimations and risk analysis, something I knew nothing about before. These topics can help anyone working on a project even if they are not a Project manager themselves.

Advice for students:
Definently take the course, Dr. Marta is fair and fun, she demands good work but that should be expected at a higher education venue. Do read all course requirements and assignments, everything is laid out logically and is right there for you so there will be little excuses for missing a deadline in the class. Also there is monthly forum participation for the on line class, do it with some meaning and good intent and complete it on time, failure to do so will cost you good, easy class points. One piece of advice, study study study for the 5 quizzes, they are only 10 questions long and missing just one question knocks you down to a 90 which over the course will hurt your grade, read and know that material and take the sample quizzes multiple times. The quiz can only be taken once, and when you start you have 15 minutes to complete with no go backs.
