    | No strong feelings either way.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The class is very engaging and I'm always interested in the conversations we have. The reading are a little challenging, but i always love reading the material.

    Course highlights:

The highlight is that this class really prepares you to right an essay. If you have english classes in the future this class will help you get an A.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Always read the material because its going to be talked about the next day. Stay ingaged in the conversation because they are important.

    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Dr. Patrick is an amazing teacher. He allows the discussion to travel anywhere and then bases the work he assigns us off of the discussions we've had. The course requires a lot of thinking, but if you have an opinion, then you shall fit in quite well. The biggest part is participating. Speak your mind, it is a judgement free class.

    Course highlights:

One of my favorite memories of this class is when we discussed Mary Shelley's Frankenstein. The topic of the day was whether or not Dr. Frankenstein's monster had a soul and, if so whether or not he could be considered human. The very first thing we had to do was determine what having a soul entailed. This has no definite answer, of course, but intriguing nonetheless.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

PARTICIPATE! Speaking in class is everything! If you do not do that then the essays and reading become so much harder. Plus it's fun.

    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because it influences students to think deeply into a topic or a piece of literature and have their own opinion on it. It is a course that is very helpful for people that are very open minded and people that are closed minded. It encourages closed minded people to open up and listen and understand others' ideas and to extend their beliefs and ideas. People that are already open minded are able to express their ideas to people and take others' opinions.

    Course highlights:

Seminar is a discussion based class. i would recommend this class for people that are very opinionated and for people that would like to open their minds and learn how others think about different ideas.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Read every book that you are assigned in order to stay on top of things and not be lost during discussions. The more you read, the more you know, and the more you can participate which is a large part of this class. Also use your own ideas and opinions because those are what will get you far in this class
