    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This course was a challenge for me. I am not very outgoing, so i dint really participate in the discussions that much, but i was engaged the whole time. I loved hearing other people's ideas and different feelings they had towards a subject. I would recommend this course if you are a good language arts student. But, also if language arts isn't your strong suit, i would still recommend it because you're mostly graded on your ideas, not how many fancy words you can put into a sentence.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course were getting to talk about current events like the election. My favorite part of the year was the end because we got to write a speech called "This I Believe." We were allowed to write about anything we believed in. So, I wrote about believing in going to Disneyland.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Just stay on top of your work and don't wait to write your papers last minute. And, take practice tests and essays seriously.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This course was invigorating and especially challenging because it forced me to think about issues that concerns the world instead of petty issues that revolved around an academic environment. Although it is a rigorous course, it is also a rewarding one opening the eyes of the students and myself on important issues and topics that we never seem to dicuss in school.

    Course highlights:

This course taught me how to formulate my own opinions and to effectively convey my ideas into a conversation. It pushed me to expand my horizons in the literary department, forcing me to read genres that were difficult for me to get through. It was a challenging course that taught me that in the real world, there are things that you like and things that you don't like but in the end you'll experience them both.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Never be afraid to receive criticism in any shape or form because the comments you get will not only strengthen your character but also your writing!
