    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

There are many benefits for students as young as I am. The teachers care about your future and help you as much as they can and in every way that they can. They're always informing you of opportunities that are open to you as a student wanting a future profession in the medical field.

    Course highlights:

I've gained knowledge of the human anatomy and physiology. I've been taught, in depth, about how our bodies function, diseases and disorders and how they may affect us, how to diagnose and treat these diseases with medications and/or surgical procedures. I've done dissections of hearts, brains, eyeballs, frogs and much more. I've created my own case studies and studied each body system and the disorders/diseases associated with that body system.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

You have to be determined and enjoy the knowledge that comes with this course. You have to study nonstop, and really understand what you're learning. You have to know the human anatomy inside and out because there are no mistakes that can afford to be made as a medical assistant.
