Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This class definitely teaches you about the tech world. You gain valuable experience and knowledge just not classroom-wise but about coding in the real world as well.

    Course highlights:

Taking this course has taught me how to efficiently work with others in order to complete a project. Like Software Development teams in professional settings, there is a person designated for the front, middle, and back-end. Through this, I discovered that my strength lies in front and back end development.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

A love for the subject makes the class much easier to take, since coding does not focus on just what you learn in the classroom. Exploring development tools on your own would greatly help you in the class.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Software Development is one of the most practical courses I've ever taken. It takes your basic knowledge of coding languages and exposes you to real life applications such as web development and databases.

    Course highlights:

I learned how to create and manipulate a database and I learned a lot about creating web pages.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Get familiar with computer science jargon before taking the course.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

The course is extremely hands-on and you learn to create applications of your own. It is very applicable and useful class and but also requires a previous foundation of computer science and is not a class for beginners.

    Course highlights:

I made a website which hosted a multiplayer game that could be played online and was real time. I learned to program in javascript and wrote server side code with python.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Try to keep up with the class. It is imperative you know what is going on. The class covers a wide range of topics and it is hard to catch up after falling behind.
