    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would definitely recommend this class if you enjoy writing A LOT. I learned so much about the environment, politics, and rhetoric in this class and I have never written so much in one class in my life. Mr. H is also amazing.

    Course highlights:

We learned about the corruption behind the meat industry and animal agriculture. We also focused on rhetorical terms and what makes a good speech or piece of writing good literature.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Definitely put all of your effort into this class. Read all of the handouts in great detail. There will be pop tests. Participate a lot in class and make sure to have a part in the great discussion.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This was such a great intellectually interesting class, and there was something new to talk about everyday. There were great discussions about interesting events and concepts that really changed my view of the world. Although the work load was challenging, I genuinely enjoyed coming to class everyday.

    Course highlights:

We had such interesting discussions ranging from things like Allegory of the Cave to veganism to books and anything else. I feel this class challenged my way of thinking and prepared me for college and the future.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Always do the homework and the readings! They're challenging but o many students fell behind in the workload.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This class provides great in-depth insight into various fictional and nonfictional novels that you won't get in a non AP English class.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course were the group discussions with the teacher Mr. Hawrylczak or Mr. H as we call him. He is such a knowledgeable teacher who puts time and effort into creating topics for us to go over and discuss and he teaches us life lessons as well as the basic English composition. He even helped us to write our college essays.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Complete ALL of your assignments when they are due and put time and thought into what you write on your responses.
