    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This class is rigorous, but rewarding! I was very prepared for the AP exam

    Course highlights:

I learned how to manage my time and be responsible about my school work. One highlight was the research project we completed that spanned over many months and was grueling work. In the end it paid off because I learned how to research, how to manage time over a long period, and understand what I was reading and writing.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Be prepared to be pushed outside your comfort zone and to be challenged. Do not procrastinate, read the literature, and ask questions.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this class because I feel like I learned the most about English with this amazing teacher. She may produce a lot of work for you, but in the end, it will be worth it when you pass the AP exam. She loves every one of her students.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course were that you got to experience a very loving and caring teacher. She may not seem that way in teacher mode during class, but if you interact with her otherwise or when she is not swamped with papers to grade, she is very down-to-earth and you will love every aspect of her.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Never, ever procrastinate. That is very basic but it definitely goes a long way. Anyway, the more you procrastinate, the less you get accomplished, and the deeper hole you dig yourself in. You always have to stay one step ahead of your work, if not on top of it.

I mostly learned to pace myself when doing time writings and in general it increased my test taking skills.

    Hours per week:
