Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Professor Strickland was a great professor. She was very informative, knew her subject very well, and was overall a sweet lady. She was always willing to help her students learn the subject. The class was very straightforward and interesting! It was a great course for health-related fields.

    Course highlights:

Human Growth and Development teaches students the psychology of growing and maturing human beings. It covers development from as young as prenatal development, all the way up to geriatrics and death. You learn how the body develops over time, as well as how the personality arises. It gives very specific timelines for growth and allows students to put what they've learned into use with practical "clinical" situations.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

I would tell students considering this course to find/create a study group with peers and other students within the course. The course is demanding and requires a lot of reading. Likewise, to fully understand the material, you need to make sure that you read the required textbook and really understand the vocabulary. The vocabulary was a large portion of the course. You use it to put into different situations, so it is important that it is understood.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I would highly recommend this course because the teacher is the best at making sure everyone knows the material.

    Course highlights:

The best part about this class was that we had take home test, and when we brought it back to the next class, we went over the test and argued points back as a class. I leaned that in psychology, there is often more than one right answer.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Get ahead on the modules that you have to do in the e-book. They are not difficult but there are many and they count as a big portion or your grade.
