    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because it improves your vocabulary and the strategies you choice to write drastically.

    Course highlights:

A highlight from this course was that I learned new rhetorical devices and how to use them in my writing. I soon also used them when reading, and how authors send messages through their writing.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

This course isn't a piece of cake you must have integrity, and be determined. You won't get things handed to you, you must work for it.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because Ms. Goodson is the most blunt teacher you could ever meet . Not only does her teaching style show in her personality but it also shows in the units and work she gives you to do . Her English course is the most unorthodox fun filled hardcore class you will ever endure .

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course would be reading books like animal farm , that expand your mind on humanity and war . One take away from this class is that your thoughts can influence many people .

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

If I were a student about to take this class I would heighten my expectations this is not a typical class , you will not think the same or ever read the same way after passing that class . The class is difficult but it is fair , don't give up on yourself , you can do it .

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I definitely recommend this course because you are taught to truly analyze a text and understand the way a text or piece of article is written the way it is. I have learned so much from being in this course already and I have learned how words can change the way something sounds and the way it is said in the article.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course is that connotations and denotations play a huge part in writing and authors portray their message by the way they change up their writing and style of it.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Advice I would give is to know that it is okay if you are unfamiliar with how the author writes his/her text and that analyzing a text fully can change your whole perspective of the topic and even beyond that!
