    | No strong feelings either way.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The course is definitely useful for those interested in a medical field as it is often required in college. However, it is very reading-intensive. The teachers can only teach you so much and often times, self-learning will be what gets you through this class.

    Course highlights:

I learned about various psychological concepts that are relevant to my own life such as emotions and development.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure to get a review book and actually use it. Most times, the course content comes directly from the review book, making it a valuable tool.

    | Would recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The course explores the laboratory aspect of genetics and focuses on developing a strong understanding of inquiry and procedures commonly found in a genetics setting.

    Course highlights:

The numerous labs in this course were definitely the highlights. We delved deeply into the mechanism behind each procedure and how each can be applied in real life to solve medical, ethical, and person issues.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Stay updated with the lab notebook as it would become your best personal study tool for midterm. Do not continue an experiment unless you're sure of the next step.

    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend it to everyone, even people who aren't trying to go into fields regarding it because it is a really fun class and has a lot of real world information regarding it that can help you in the future no matter what profession you want to go into. It is also really interesting and makes it a thoughtful period to think about why people act the way they do.

    Course highlights:

I learned about how different experiences can make people react different ways an why they react in the ways they do. I learned that there is still a significant amount of the brain that we don;t know about and that there is always something new to learn about it.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

To succeed the real key is to listen to what people talk about during class and take good notes on it. The textbook is also very straightforward and helpful any time you get stuck. The biggest thing though, is to make sure you don't do all the outlines of the textbook right before the test since it is a good way to review and will be helpful in studying.
