    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

Mrs. Cocoli is one of the best teachers I have ever had. She makes lessons so easy and understandable. She makes history interesting even to the people who hate it the most. She challenges you, but in a good way. She is young and is very relatable to high school students which I think thats why we love her so much. She cares about students and offers tutoring in May and June to help students prepare for the regents.

    Course highlights:

She does reviews for tests on Wednesday and if you hand in the review sheet the next day, you get +5 on the test. I've never gotten below a 95 in her class and thats because she makes the material easy to understand. She only assigns an essay every marking period and she gives a guideline to help you with it.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

This course is very easy as long as you pay attention in class and take notes. These are the two most important keys to passing the class. If you do this, the tests will be a piece of cake and you might get bumped up to honors.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

Teacher efficiently conveyed the information that was needed for students to take the U.S. History regents and would often go over previous material to make sure it was not forgotten. Before tests, there were always reviews for the test and this gave students more time to spend on studying.

    Course highlights:

Time was spent wisely, and the teacher was constantly teaching in a way our brains could retain the memory for months. Through this course, I have learned the importance of consistently reviewing before a major test and the impact wording has on memorization.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

In this course, it is important to listen to the teacher and read the handouts. There is a handout given nearly everyday. Most of the test material is just a summary of what you have already learned. If forgotten, simply go back to your handouts, they contain everything you need to know.
