    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

It's a great class to help you prepare for college, but it can be difficult especially when you are reading difficult literature. Mr. Faciano gave quizzes everyday to test our understanding of the book Grendel which we just finished but they were very specific questions that I didn't remember the exact answers to. Overall, he is a great teacher because he knows how to make a class fun and educational simultaneously.

    Course highlights:

I am currently learning how to analyze literature in depth and find symbolism. We also make connections to things in the outside world such as science and religion. We wrote an essay from a list of questions on the book Grendel and just began reading the play Waiting for Godot. Everyday, we are required to write a journal which helps us think outside the box and increase our understanding of the book. It is helping me prepare myself for the AP exam which includes essay writing and critical thinking.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Do what you need to do and show Faciano you are trying and he will help you out if you are having any trouble! He says grades don't define you, so if you have a good personality he will automatically rave about you. Read, take notes and do well on the tests which are usually essays.
