    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

It's a very rewarding and enriching course. I've learned a lot both as a student as a person, and I'm still applying information I learned in this class to my life a year later.

    Course highlights:

I definitely learned a lot about how significant the problems with our environment truly are. We discussed different approaches that we, as humans, can take in mitigating their effects. I also learned about how other countries are taking environmental action in comparison to the United States.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

You need to study a lot outside of school. Paying attention in class isn't enough. Review your notes when you get home; memorization is everything. You must teach yourself all of the important terms and vocabulary in each chapter and especially the laws and treaties that are highlighted in the review book. If your memory isn't the greatest (like mine), I would highly suggest making flash cards. You can make them by hand or you can use applications like Quizlet to do so. I used both methods, and I benefited from both. You need to study a lot for every quiz and exam- do not slack off.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Not only is Mr.Gongaware the best instructor you could ever ask for, but the class is actually interesting. The way the course-work is presented to you is both exciting and challenging.

    Course highlights:

The best unit that we covered was Demographics and Population. You get to explore the fertility rates, death ratios and population curves in developed and developing countries.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Don't worry about it too much; Mr Gongaware is always available and eager to help you with anything that may be confusing for you.

    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

If you're a science major, I would definitely recommend this class. However, if you're an English major, like me, and math and science is not your strong suit, I'd reconsider.

    Course highlights:

I learned that there are certain classes that you need to be on top of. If you're willing to take this class, be prepared to put most of your time in this class.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

You need to be on top of your readings. And you also have to go out of your way to study every night. All-Nighters are a no-go.
