This class was tough.
Course Overview:
I would recommend this course because it forces you to work hard to achieve good grades and tests how good ones mathematical mechanics are.
Course highlights:
Some highlights of this course was that it strenghtened my algebra skills. I learned differentiation, limits, antiderivative and Fundamental Theorems of Calculus.
Hours per week:
9-11 hours
Advice for students:
Students must push themselves in this course, listening in class is not enough one must go home review and study the material alone by themselves as well to fully understand the material that is being taught.
Not too easy. Not too difficult.
Course Overview:
I would recommend this course to any student that did well in their Algebra II/Trigonometry regents. AP Calculus requires a lot of background math knowledge. It also requires students to think more abstractly.
Course highlights:
The best part of this course is that much of the time, the math blew my mind. You'd think that math has limits but it doesn't. Mathematics could explain and solve almost everything in life.
Hours per week:
3-5 hours
Advice for students:
Just make sure you continue to review everything so you don't forget things for the exam. I didn't even need to study much for the exam (except to brush up on the equation).
This class was tough.
Course Overview:
The teacher was amazing and her only intentions were not only to make you a better student and get a 5 on the AP exam, but also a better person.
Course highlights:
General calculus and AP level Calculus ranging from derivatives to integration, and some AP Physics
Hours per week:
6-8 hours
Advice for students:
study hard and you pay attention
