Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend taking this course because it allows you to get awareness of different things that are occurring in today's society, not only locally but globally.

    Course highlights:

I learned time management, with studying and doing projects. Also, topics that i learned were how trends diffuse and crisis that are occurring such as the Syrian refugee crisis.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

I would tell them that is important to study in advanced for test as well as read all the extra material provided. Ms.K annnounces the test day a week in advance and i would recommend studying at least four to five days before,by creating a review from the notes. I also strongly encourage people who want to take the course that they should at least skim the textbook because simple questions will pop up that require textbook knowledge and people will get them wrong since they didn't read the text boo.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

If you want to learn about important things that just happened to be left out of the history textbooks, take this class. It's also really great for getting a sense of just how connected the entire world is.

    Course highlights:

Within just two months, my geographic skills have improved a great deal. Honestly couldn't identify more than 7 out of the 50 states in the U.S. before this class. I have also learned a lot about how economic/political circumstances from centuries ago have left their imprint on the world today.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Study the review PDFs that Ms. K sends on pupilpath the day before exams. Study for all quizzes, because doing bad on just one quiz may have a horrendous effect on your grade.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Human Geography was a course that requires you to read the textbook and complete all small assignments in order to perform at an acceptable level.

    Course highlights:

The in depth study of various countries and their culture have broadened my perspective and curiosity of the world and the people around us.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

If you have taken previous AP level courses, you will find this to be equally intensive and it may become difficult to keep up with the workload.
