Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This teacher makes sure you know the work. He also teaches in a way that is helpful to everyone. He reads the notes out loud, has them on a projector, gives out worksheets, and has you write them down. His projects are actually fun and you feel like you accomplished something after you finish them. However, these things do not mean that he is an easy grader. Mr.Maninno also teaches you how to write an essay and gives you tips. I know you can't really "teach" someone how to write essays but he helps you write it in a certain format, but its still comfrable for each person, if you pay attention that is. He's also a great person outside of class and he'll always say hello if you wave to him in the hallways.

    Course highlights:

The main thing this teacher does it teach you how to take notes, and teach you to get used to working with people without really forcing you to. He also teaches in a way that makes you want to ask questions because he makes everything sound so interesting. I still want to learn more about the Ottoman Empire and it's been three years.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Don't take this course lightly. It might be a class for freshman but you can NOT go into freshman year thinking that grades are going to be handed to you and that you can do it on your own. You need to pay attention, befriend some teachers and classmares, and ask them for help. It will benefit the entire class in the long run because they might all be confused as well and then the teacher can address the issue and help everyone out.
