    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

In 2016, it was Kostro's first year teaching APUS. 90% of teaching considered worksheets & copying off powerpoint slides! Did not really explain anything

    Course highlights:

We had to do a lot of research ourselves int he classroom & then present them to the class. This helped us memorize material. It also allowed us to find our own way to remember the info.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Do not take unless you are very good at history or is ready to dedicate more than 3 hours each day to studying

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

This class goes in depth with United States History. I believe this is the easiest AP class, which makes it a great choice to take. This class will prepare you for the AP US History exam.

    Course highlights:

I learned the most about our government, presidents, and US conflicts.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Take the course! You will not regret it. If you love history this course will be perfect for you.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This is an enriching experience that would astound you on the history of the United States. You will never look at the history of our democracy the same ever again.

    Course highlights:

The best aspects were learning about the history and founding of the nation. I learned that the United States was a building block for other democracies around the world.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Do not procrastinate and find the time to study the roots.
