    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because if you are going into college the next year then you will need to keep the basics of math fresh in your mind. This class is very helpful for remembering your Trigonometry and Algebra.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course was working with functions and understanding how to use derivates. I learned how to write functions in different ways such as, graphical, numerical, analytical, and verbally. I also learned how to find a derivative of a function and how to use the product rule, quotient rule, and chain rule.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

The advice that I would give students considering this course is that they should be prepared prior into taking this course. If they do not understand something in class they should look it up and YouTube how to do it. Stay caught up on the lessons and do not fall behind because ever class is crucial.

    Course highlights:

You learn many different things in math while taking this course. You further apply things that you have learned in trigonometry as well as algebra and geometry. The most important concepts learned in this class were derivatives and integration.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure you pay attention in class and take notes. You should also do your homework which will give you practice in what you learned. Study a little after every topic to reinforce what you learned and to ensure that you know how to use a certain formula and apply it in various problems.

    Course highlights:

So far, based on taking this course I learned about various topics such as derivatives and integrals. At first, learning about derivatives was difficult because I didn't understand the rules, but now I've gotten a lot better at solving derivatives.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

You need to review your notes everyday and if you don't understand the topic watch YouTube videos and study some more.
