Background Knowledge Expected
This class was tough.
You will gain so much knowledge of US History that will permenantly stick with you. The regents will be a breeze!
Because we go to an American History school it's not like I was learning a whole bunch of new information but I learned how to analyze and connect time periods and events together. I also learned how to take notes, noting taking is essential to getting 90+ on test and getting a 4+ on the AP exam!
Hours per week:
Advice for students:
If you did happen to slip up during class or want to make sure you get a 4 on that test and only have a week left? No problem. Buy the crash course AP US History book read all the Units STARTING with the Unit that is on the test the most (the book tell you the percentages) then highlight all important details. When you're done highlighting Re write everything you highlighted, (sounds hard but it's not) you can also incorporate your text book notes when rewriting this study sheet. If you try and do one unit a night you will be done in about 10 days Lastly, get some colored sharpies and in one color underline important dates, in another circle important people, in a different color box important events etc. By the time you finish all you have to do is read through that study sheet once or twice and I guarantee you will get a 4, I did!
