Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

It is a difficult class if you do not study, but Professor Spell is amazing and really helps students understand the material. It is a pretty straightforward class and is not a complicated course. Show up to class, pay attention, do the work and you will be fine.

    Course highlights:

The class lectures were the highlight of the class for me, I actually enjoyed going to class because I knew I was learning every day.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

If you are business major, take as many classes as you are able to with Professor Spell. Participate in class and do not be afraid to be wrong; if you are going to fail, fail in the right direction.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The professor I took it with was very knowledgeable of the course. He gives a broad range and avenues of routes that Communication students can take. His style of teaching always has you thinking outside the box. Additionally, each aspect he incorporates Christ.

    Course highlights:

The knowledge I gained from this course is that "mass media" existed since biblical times. Sometimes we have the misconception of thinking it started with the printing press or through technology but in reality it dates further back then those milestones in history.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Although it's perceived as an easy course take the opportunity to really learn from it.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The class was engaging and relevant not just for communications majors but for anyone who engages in any form of blogging, social media, or online interaction. The class was insightful on many of the different things that make the online world tick!

    Course highlights:

Some introductory marketing concepts, Public Relations concepts, the history of mass media technology, how people interact with one another.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Be ready to take notes! The work load might seem intimidating but it has to deal with a lot of the things that we deal with today involving the internet and social media.
