Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course introduced me to the vital role that the environment plays in shaping nearly every aspect of our lifestyles as humans.

    Course highlights:

I learned that Environmental Science should not be underestimated because it truly ties together multiple other science types, such Biology and Chemistry. Also, this course highlighted ways student students can take an active role in helping their local environment simply by being educated and making slight changes to their daily routines.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Keep an open mind because this course introduces students to concepts that may seem foreign and even unbelievable at first given the materialistic society of today.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

    This course was designed to help seniors who are behind get that credit to graduate. It is very easy, as long as you do the work. The teacher is great, and is very helpful. He wants the best for his students. It is fun, as well as intriguing. You will watch a lot of videos about bugs and other wildlife.;

    Course highlights:

Highlights of this course are learning about insects, birds, and other wildlife. You learn about ecosystems and habitats. There are at least 2 labs per quarter but he helps with them. The rest is mainly book work, notes, and movies. He will give you a paper to fill out during the movie, or have you write 10-20 facts down on looseleaf.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Pay attention during the movies and notes. If you miss something, it is hard to pick back up. He has a powerpoint for the notes, so pay attention to the slides while you fill out the notes. There is hardly any homework, so study your notes when there is no homework.

    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend it if you know you want to have a career that involves chemistry. The course teaches you more than what is required for the REGENTS.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of the course were the labs and the discussions we would have. Majority of the labs were quite fun and we would learn random facts about anything in half of our discussions. I learned the periodic table and the properties it has.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Study a lot. If you do not study everyday you will not pass with good grades.
